Start Strong Pathways
Funded by the The NSW Department of Education – Start Strong Pathways Program
The Start Strong Pathways program helps provide educational supports for young children prior to preschool enrolment. It strengthens the engagement of children within these services, and helps promote the importance of early childhood education to parents.
The Start Strong Pathways has three core objectives;
Support educational engagement of children too young to receive a preschool education
Support pathways to preschool
Promote the importance of early childhood education to parents and communities
Our program is staffed by an experienced Early Childhood Educator
Start Strong Pathways is a free service aiming to provide families with information about:
- Age appropriate activities for learning
- Establishing connections with early childhood providers within the local area
- Opportunities to learn about children’s development and the importance of learning through play
- Individual support to assist families in transition to school (e.g. educational settings, preschool, long day care, family daycare)
- Connect families to early learning opportunities in the community (e.g. local playgroups, events, programs, transition to school)
- Assistance with referrals to Early Intervention and community supports if required.
- Parent workshops and other information for families, educators and communities

We deliver the Start Strong Pathways program in the Bankstown LGA (Local Government Area).

What our community says

BCRG playgroup was the very first Community event I took my boys to, and it was a beautiful experience. Thank you so much to you and your team for providing this platform to mums. I told my friends and everyone I had a great time, hope to be a part of your services in future too.
